Site work for a recreation facility in Maplewood, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a recreation facility.
The City of Maplewood Reserves the Right to Accept or Reject Any or All Bids. Specifications can be found at www.cityofmaplewood.com or contact the City of Maplewood at 314-645-3600. Scope of Work 1. The city will remove the existing sand from the tanks in preparation for the project. 2. Inspect all the laterals and tubing inside the tanks. If any laterals are broken, we would then replace as needed. Please include cost per lateral replacement on the bid form. 3. Replace four (4) - six (6’) inch shut off valves and gaskets per filter tank. There are six (6) tanks total and 24 (twenty-four) shut off valves total. 4. Fill up tanks with recommended silica filter sand. Contractor needs to determine the quantity of sand needed. 5 tanks are 10’ long and 4’ in diameter. 1 tank is 11 ½’ long and 4’ in diameter. 5. All job debris will be hauled away from the jobsite by the contractor. 6. Any additional work must be addressed in change order request submitted to the City, which will list time and materials needed 7. Contractor will be responsible for protecting the workspace 8. Contractor will be responsible for keeping the work area as clean and tidy as possible and eliminate any potential hazards 9. All work will be performed Monday-Friday between the hours of 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. unless scheduled with Public Works Superintendent.
