**As of August 16, 2024, project was awarded to Schillers Audio Visual, awarded amount is $122,849.51.** Audio/Visual Replacement and Upgrade Questions and Clarifications: All questions shall be submitted in writing via email to l-miller@cityofmaplewood.com SCOPE OF WORK The City is seeking proposals to replace existing audio system, media devices, AV routing, and control systems in its Council Chambers and adjacent conference room with options for future expansion and technical changes. The scope of services shall include: o Replace all current audio system components. o Replacement of the current nine (9) desk microphones.Four (4) Additional microphones- one for the seat on the east and west side of the chambers, two (2) microphones for the purpose of capturing audience comments from the general seating area and one (1) spare desk microphone. o Two (2) wireless microphones where applicable (conference table, podium, portable mic) o Independent level and mute-override controls for each of the aforementioned microphones for both house sound and recording and distribution needs. o Check and repair/replace existing speakers within chambers as needed. o Replace all media device interfaces o Replace presentation displays (desired solution includes flat-screen televisions) o A/V control system replacement o Contractor will replace associated cabling as needed o Distribution needs: The City seeks options to have independent controls over main/program mix levels being distributed to various sources which include but are not limited to: o House sound o AV recorder o Live-streaming (Facebook & YouTube) o Integrated maintenance and training for city staff o Provide a detailed wire-map & equipment packet of operational manuals o The Contractor will de-install certain City furnished components and cabling o The Contractor will install all new equipment o New wall or ceiling mounting will be coordinated with City Building Officials o All services will ensure compatibility with City furnished equipment (the city uses PC's with Office 365) o Provide all associated standard warranty information and extended service plans, prices, and response standards.
