Scope of Work Detention Center Cafeteria Roof Unit Replacement 1. There is1 rooftop package unit that is MERV 13-ratedserving the Detention Center Cafeteria that is approaching the end of its expected service life. 2. Replace the unit with a DX unit with variable speed units that provide humidity control, part load compressor, and fan modulation to use less energy and provide better occupant comfort. 3. Shut down the existing unit and recover the refrigerant. 4. Disconnect and remove the rooftop unit. The Burke County Board of Commissioners is currently soliciting proposals from qualified Vendors who specialize in HVAC System Replacement and Installation, for the Burke County Detention Center Cafeteria Roof Unit. The facility is located at 225 GA HWY 24 S. Waynesboro, GA 30830. Any questions should be directed to Austin Miettunen at (706) 554-2133.
