Site: Walker-Hackensack Closed Landfill Location: 4524 44th St NW, Hackensack, Minnesota, 56452 State's Authorized Representative. The State's Authorized Representative is Mose McLain, Project Manager, 520 Lafayette Rd N, St. Paul, MN 55155, Ph.: 651-757-2292, or his/her successor or delegate, and has the responsibility to monitor the Contractor's performance and the authority to accept the services delivered or goods received under this Contract. If the services are satisfactory, the State's Authorized Representative will certify acceptance on each invoice submitted for payment. The estimated total dollar value of the contract is $40,000 to $50,000. However, this shall not be construed as either the minimum or maximum amount. It shall also be understood and accepted by the responder that any quantities shown in this solicitation are estimated quantities only and impose no obligation upon the State either minimum or maximum. Complete the installation of five gas vents on the closed landfill cover to minimize the potential for landfill gas migration toward the building. Surety bond of a surety company duly authorized to do business in the State of Minnesota; in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the response, which is submitted as a solicitation security conditioned upon the Responder entering into a contract with the State of Minnesota in accordance with the terms of the solicitation. Responders must upload a copy of their surety bond as prompted in the solicitation. The State reserves the right to require the Contractor to provide the original surety bond to the State. Any award that may result from this solicitation will be based upon the established selection process. The State reserves the right to award this solicitation to a single responder, or to multiple responders, whichever is in the best interest of the State, providing each responder is in compliance with all terms and conditions of the solicitation. The State reserves the right to accept all or part of an offer, to reject all offers, to cancel the solicitation, or to re-issue the solicitation, whichever is in the best interest of the State. If such a request is made, the Contractor must submit the original surety bond within seven (7) calendar days upon receipt of the request. If the original surety bond is not received within seven (7) calendar days of receipt of the request, the State may take action including rejection of the response or cancellation of the contract for cause. The State reserves the right to: o Reject any and all responses received; Waive or modify any informalities, irregularities, or inconsistencies in the responses received; o Require responders to conduct presentations, demonstrations, or submit samples. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
