Precast Concrete Wall Panel Sealant Removal and Replacement at the Barrington High School. All Bidders Must Be Pre-qualified. Bid Security in the Form of a Bid Bond in an Amount Equal to 10 Percent of the Base Bid Amount Shall Be Submitted With the Bid. Bid Bond Shall Be Payable to the Owner. All Bidders Must Comply With Applicable Illinois Law Requiring the Payment of Prevailing Wages by All Contractors Working on Public Work Projects. Bidder Must Comply With the Illinois Statutory Requirements Regarding Labor, Including Equal Employment Opportunity Laws. All Bidders, Prior to Receiving Bidding Documents, Must Pre-qualified by the Architect, andHave $5 Million in Umbrella Excess Liability Insurance Over Primary Insurance Prior to Obtaining Bid Documents. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids or Parts Thereof, or Waive Any Irregularities or Informalities, and to Make the Award in the Best Interest of the Owner. Precast Concrete Wall Panel Sealant Joint Replacement: . Removal of the existing sealant and backer rod. . Preparation of the concrete substrate: Removal of all foreign contaminates. . Tape off the joints as required to prevent sealant staining of the painted wall. . Installation of spray foam insulation into the joint: rake back. . Installation of open cell foam rod, primer and sealant. . Installation of open cell foam rod, primer and sealant.
