New Smyrna Beach Utilities is seeking a quote from a Licensed and Insured Contractor to remove, provide and replace fences, gates and posts. We have seven (7) different fences that need done and they are all at different locations in New Smyrna Beach, FL. The locations are listed below the scope of work. Scope overview: 1. Remove and replace fences, gates, and posts. 2. Mesh fabric will be 2" 9-guage (mesh fabric and posts shall be black vinyl coated). 3. The new fence and swing gates will be six (6) feet tall above finished grade. 4. Corner and gate posts will be 3" inch schedule 40. 5. Line posts will be 2 3/8" schedule 40. 6. Top rail will be 1 5/8" schedule 20. 7. Bottom tension wire shall be No.7 AWG 8. The concrete will be 3000 PSI and will extend at least 4 inches below the bottom of the post. Concrete will extend 1 inch above ground line and will be sloped to drain away from post. 9.
