Rehabilitation and enhancement to the existing 330,000 gpd River Bend WWTP, including rehabilitation of one (1) existing carbon steel circular treatment unit; demolition and replacement of one (1) existing carbon steel circular treatment unit; rehabilitation of one (1) existing equalization basin; chlorine and dechlorination feed systems improvements; as well as installation of a new Preliminary Treatment Unit and reaeration basin with ancillary equipment, electrical and control devices as required. Each bid must be accompanied by cash or a certified check, drawn on a bank or trust company authorized to do business in North Carolina, payable to Town of River Bend in an amount at least equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid, as a guarantee that a contract will be entered into. Bids must be submitted on the complete project. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Town of River Bend, 45 Shoreline Drive, River Bend, North Carolina 28562 and the outside of the envelope must be marked “Bid for River Bend WWTP Enhancements – Phase 1.” All bids must be made on blank forms provided and included in the bound document. The name, address, and license number with limitation and classification of the Bidder must be plainly marked thereon. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to award contract or contracts which, in the opinion of the Owner, appear to be in its best interest.
