GAOA Bridger and Bangtail Trail Facility Renovation-Custer Gallatin National Forest Bridger and Bangtails Trail Renovation Custer Gallatin National Forest This contract requires furnishing equipment on a fully operated basis, in good mechanical and operating condition and operated by competent operators, experienced in performing work of the nature required by this contract. The Contractor will provide all equipment, operating supplies, operators, supervision, and support functions necessary to perform the required work on an hourly, per item, and per mile basis. The work to be accomplished is associated with trail restoration, repair, and heavy maintenance, which shall include but is not limited to, restoring trail to the original trail template, including clearing, grading, blading, removing slough and berm, rocks, roots and stumps from tread and backslope, filling ruts and troughs, reshaping trail tread and backslope, and restoring reshaping and cleaning drainage structures, widening pullouts, reshaping switchbacks, repairing tread failure, and removal of rock and material from landslides and backslope collapse. Other work includes the installation of road and trail signposts and bulletin boards, including post hole excavation, setting posts and bulletin boards, and filling post holes after installation. Additional work includes excavation for culvert installation.
