The District School Board of Niagara (hereafter referred to as the DSBN) on behalf of the Niagara Public Purchasing Committee (hereafter known as NPPC) requires a Service Provider to perform Inspections, Maintenance and Repair Services on Passenger Elevators and Lifts to the participating agencies of the NPPC at various locations, within the limits of the Regional Municipality of Niagara, as detailed herein. The contract will be awarded for a two-year period, commencing May 16, 2024 with five possible one-year extensions until May 15 2031. Please note that any contract term clauses referring to DSBN shall also apply to any NPPC agency noted below. The individual agencies of the NPPC, as generally described but not limited to those agencies named below, may at their discretion, award all or a portion of the services described herein to a single proponent. No single award contract or purchase order will be issued covering all agencies. Individual Agencies will at their own discretion, contract (if any) for some or all of the services listed herein with the successful proponent. Successful proponents must accept contracts (if any) from the said Agencies and invoice the individual said Agencies per the orders placed by these Agencies. The City of Welland 5. The City of Port Colborne 6. Niagara College 7. City of St Catharines Other NPPC Agencies not listed above may choose to participate in any contract aw The DSBN serves over 40,000 students across almost 100 elementary schools and secondary schools in the Niagara Region. The DSBN has approximately 98 elevating devices amongst all DSBN properties throughout the DSBN. A full list of elevating devices is included in Section 28 - Form of Proposal. The DSBN/NPPC currently has 1 Elevator Service Company performing monthly or quarterly inspections and repairs on these elevating devices. The current agreement for these services is set to expire on May 15, 2024. The DSBN/NPPC is seeking one Contractor to provide comprehensive regulatory inspections, ongoing maintenance and repair services on an as required basis for passenger elevators and lifts.
