Upon the request of the District, a bidder whose bid is under consideration for the award of the Contract shall submit promptly to the District satisfactory evidence showing the bidder's financial resources, surety and insurance claims experience, construction experience, completion ability, workload, organization available for the performance of the Contract, and other factors pertinent to a Project of the scope and complexity involved. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a labor and material bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, and a faithful performance bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, said bonds to have sureties satisfactory to the Ventura Unified School District. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and/or accept any bid if such action is in the best interest of the District. The District reserves the right to waive irregularities in any bid. The District may award a contract on an individual project or combination of projects, whichever is to the best interest of the District. The bidder may specify that the District acceptance of one project shall be contingent upon the District's acceptance of one or more additional projects submitted on the same bid.
