Renovation of a mixed-use development in Calgary, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The scope of work for the controls generally includes the following: .1 Upgrade to existing Johnson Controls workstation located in janitor room 166, mechanical room controls cabinet controllers DC-1,2,5 and remote-control cabinets DC-6 thru 11. .2 Controls to be upgraded on the following mechanical systems: Hot Water Heating Boilers (B-1,2); High Temp Circulation Pumps (P-1,2); Heat Pump Loop Circulation Pumps (P-3,4); Steam Boiler Monitoring, control (B-3); Domestic Water Pump (P-5); Heat Exchanger controls, and replacement of existing 3-way valve (HE-1); and Dry Cooler including staged fan status, control, and replacement of existing 3-way valve (DC-1). Upgrade of controls for the following air systems: Make Up Air Unit with all associated points including replacement of existing 3-way control valve, and humidifier valve (MU-1); MU Outdoor Air Intake Damper (OA-DPR); BMS hard wired monitoring of qty 29 newly purchased Heat Pump Units (HP-1 thru 29); Fan Coil Units (FC-1 thru 11) including corridor/vestibule temperature monitoring; Exhaust Fans (EF-1 thru 6); and associated Motorized Dampers (D-1 thru 10). Lastly controls shall be upgraded to monitor the following miscellaneous systems: Mech Room Unit Heater (UH-1), Mech Room Floor Drain Trap Primer, condensate drain valves, Building Power Monitoring pulse contact, Car Plug Control, and Exterior Lighting Control.
