Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Calgary, Alberta. Design plans call for the construction of a 55,000-square-foot, 550-seat stadium; and fitness / recreation center.
Plans call for a new Events Centre to be located in South Springbank, at Huggard Rd. & Range Rd. 33 in Rocky View County (SW 27-24-3 W5M). Project is expected to include: Phase 1 - Community Event Centre, Studio, and multi-purposed rooms - 200-seat banquet style capacity - approx. 15,000 sq. ft. (Total capital cost $14 million). Phase 2 - Indoor Turf Field and 3-lane walking track - approx. 40,000 sq. ft. (Total capital cost $11.5 million). TIMELINE: Request for Proposals for architectural design services has been awarded. Scope or work and schedules for working drawings, tender and construction may be confirmed in spring 2026. *A business case was completed by HarGroup Management Solutions (2022).
