The City of Alpharetta is seeking proposals from parking management service providers for on-street parking management services in our Downtown area. Our objective is to ensure efficient and organized parking, promote economic vitality, enhance mobility, and address the unique parking needs of the City of Alpharetta's downtown district. This may be done in different phases to ensure successful implementation. The Parking Operator would be expected to assist the City in developing a parking management plan, implementing the parking management plan, monitoring parking, collecting fees, and handling the administrative responsibilities. The City of Alpharetta ("City") is located in northern Georgia. While it is home to more than 67,000 residents, its population swells to over 122,000 each workday. Alpharetta is now Georgia's 12th most populous city and boasts some of the best schools in the United States. Our City is known far and wide as the Technology City of the South due to the large number of tech-focused companies that call Alpharetta home. The City has a thriving Downtown with on-street and off-street parking options including two City parking decks and multiple parking lots. The popularity of our Downtown now necessitates professional parking management solutions to ensure efficient and effective operations for our residents, customers, and business owners. The goal of this solicitation is select a partner to assist in implementing on-street parking management in Phase 1 with the potential for a Phase 2 which would include parking management of our off-street parking assets (decks and lots).
