Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Any questions must be made in writing and shall be addressed to Brad Valentino, Streets and Refuse Superintendent, 3600 Kirchoff Road, Rolling Meadows, Illinois 60008 or electronically mailed to the Streets and Refuse Superintendent, Brad Valentino at valentinob@cityrm.org. The written questions, along with the City's responses, shall be circulated to all known prospective bidders without identifying the party submitting the questions. The cut-off for receipt of additional questions shall be 11:00 A.M. Central Daylight Savings Time on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, in order to facilitate preparation of any addenda. The City of Rolling Meadows will review all bids received and reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, and to accept the bids as the Rolling Meadows City Council determines, in its sole discretion, to be in the best interest of the City of Rolling Meadows. The City Manager will be the City s primary representative in the administration of this contract. The City Manager shall act as the City s project manager as provided in the contract documents subject to the control and authority of the City Manager. All bid documents can be found online on the City of Rolling Medows website, or can be requested from Brad Valentino at valentiob@cityrm.org in order to facilitate preparation of any addenda. No inquiry received after that time will be given consideration. Replies and or addenda will be mailed and electronically mailed to all known prospective bidders by 12:00 P.M. Central Daylight Savings Time on Friday March 29, 2024. Receipt of any addenda must be acknowledged in writing as part of the bidder s Proposal scope of work The intent of the contract is to prescribe a complete outline of work that the Contractor undertakes to do in full compliance with the plans and specifications. The Contractor shall perform all work and such additional, extra and incidental construction as may be necessary to complete the work. The Contractor shall furnish all required materials, equipment, tools, labor and incidentals, unless otherwise provided in the contract, and shall include the cost of these items in the unit prices bid for the several units of work. The quantities appearing in the schedule of prices are estimates prepared for the establishment of pay item prices. Payment to the Contractor will be made for the actual measured quantities performed and accepted or material furnished and accepted according to the contract and the scheduled quantities may be increased, decreased or omitted as herein provided. Under no circumstances shall the Contractor exceed any established pay item quantity without notification to the City Manager and receipt of written authorisation as provided herein The City Manager will be the City s primary representative in the administration of this contract. The City Manager shall act as the City s project manager as provided in the contract documents subject to the control and authority of the City Manager.
