The City of Salem, hereinafter referred to as "City", is seeking proposals from qualified firms to prepare a Municipal Energy Master Plan. The plan will focus on two broad categories of the City's energy usage: facilities and operations. The plan will provide a baseline of existing municipal consumption, identify a range of actions that can reduce energy consumption, recommend actions that can generate renewable energy, conduct long-term modeling to estimate the potential impacts of selected actions, and provide a prioritized set of measures for the City to implement over a 25-year period of time to the year 2050.
