Remodeling of a municipal facility in Douglasville, Georgia. Working plans call for the remodel of a municipal facility.
Project has been cancelled District Attorney Office Remodel. Question Deadline 03/29/2024 at 10:00 AM ET All questions regarding this bid shall be in writing and submitted at online. No other County staff or officials associated with this project should be contacted regarding this bid. Principal shall within fifteen (15) days after receipt of notification of the acceptance, execute a Contract in accordance with the Proposal and upon the terms, conditions, and prices set forth in the form and manner required by Douglas County, Georgia, and execute a sufficient and satisfactory Certificate of Liability Insurance, Performance Bond and Payment Bond payable to Douglas County, Georgia. The Performance Bond shall be 100% of the total Contract Price, and the Payment Bond shall be 110% The DA's office will continue to operate fully staffed during the remodel. Any inconveniences on the part of the contractor need to be discussed prior to any disruption of services at the location. It is the intent of these specifications to describe the project requirements. For all projects with Proposals over $100,000 Respondents shall provide bid bonds using the form attached to this RFP. The penal sum of the bid bond shall be five percent (%) of the estimated cost of the project. Further, the winning Respondent agrees to obtain payment and performance bonds for itself and each subcontractor with a contract in excess of $50,000. The payment and performance bonds shall be procured in the manner provided in the Agreement. Douglas County reserves the right to cancel this RFP at any time and for any reason prior to the award of a contract by the Board of Commissioners. Project that will include the items listed below. - Construct 6 offices in 24' x 24' open area of Victim Witness room of the district Attorney's office on the 2nd floor. - Existing cubicles and all furniture will be removed prior to work by the county. - Existing recess coved ceiling will need to be removed or modified by the contractor to accommodate floor to ceiling partitioned walls of new offices. - Existing lighting will need to be removed and new light fixtures and switches installed for new offices and hallway. Existing circuits may be used. - Install HVAC register in each office from existing building VAV. - Move/add sprinkler heads wherever needed to comply with fire code. - Contractor will be responsible
