Renovation of a municipal facility in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The United Nations Development Corporation (UNDC), a public benefit corporation of the State of New York, is seeking a qualified contractor to provide all material, labor, and oversight for the replacement of supplemental HVAC equipment at Three UN Plaza. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, removal of existing A/C equipment and installation of new equipment on the basement level (B2 Studio) and on the 2nd floor (pantry) including associated ceiling work, piping, and electrical work. The contractor is to furnish a 4-ton water-cooled HVAC unit, Climate Master model #TCH048, as well as a 7.5-ton water-cooled HVAC unit, TRANE model #GEHE0903, or equivalents, subject to approval by the project engineer. Modifications to certain field conditions might be required and will be detailed in a set of drawings created by the project engineer. Three UN Plaza is a 15-story commercial office building located in east midtown Manhattan. The building will be occupied and operational throughout the duration of the project. Three UN Plaza is managed by Cushman & Wakefield. The minimum required qualifications are as follows: A minimum of ten (10) years of demonstrated experience in this field. Licensed by the State of New York. Liability insurance of $5,000,000. A resume of current assignments at comparable Class A office buildings in New York City. Total MWBE Participation Goals: 30% Contract term: Three-month contract Interested companies must provide evidence of their qualifications and relevant experience including a minimum of five (5) references with contact information. Pursuant to New York State Executive Law Article 15-A and Veterans' Services Law Article 3, UNDC is required to promote opportunities for participation by New York State-certified minority and women-owned business enterprises (MWBEs) and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses (SDVOBs) in the performance of its contracts. The MWBE goal for this contract is 30%, and the SDVOB goal is 6%. If the contractor is not an MWBE or SDVOB, they should consider utilizing MWBEs and SDVOBs as subcontractors and suppliers. This solicitation is subject to the procurement lobbying restrictions of New York State Finance Law Sections 139-j and 139-k. These statutes impose certain restrictions on communications between a governmental entity and an offerer during the procurement process. Offerers should only contact designated persons listed in this ad regarding this procurement. Violations of these statutes can result in rejection for contract award and debarment from obtaining governmental procurement contacts. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6%
