Renovation of a municipal facility in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Corporation of the State of New York, is seeking a qualified contractor to provide all material, labor, and oversight for the replacement of one (1) existing Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) and associated plumbing work at Three UN Plaza. The contractor must demonstrate the ability to direct and control multiple subcontractors to carry out their work simultaneously. Three UN Plaza is a 15-story commercial office building located in east midtown Manhattan. The building will be occupied and operational throughout the duration of the project. Three UN Plaza is managed by Cushman & Wakefield. The minimum required qualifications are as follows: A minimum of ten (10) years of demonstrated experience in this field. Licensed by the State of New York. Liability insurance of $5,000,000. A resume of current assignments at comparable Class A office buildings in New York City. MWBE / SDVOB Participation Requirements Pursuant to New York State Executive Law Article 15-A and Veterans' Services Law Article 3, UNDC is required to promote opportunities for participation by New York State-certified minority and women-owned business enterprises (MWBEs) and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses (SDVOBs) in the performance of its contracts. The MWBE goal for this contract is 30%, and the SDVOB goal is 6%. If the contractor is not an MWBE or SDVOB, they should consider utilizing MWBEs and SDVOBs as subcontractors and suppliers. Procurement Lobbying Restrictions This solicitation is subject to the procurement lobbying restrictions of New York State Finance Law Sections 139-j and 139-k. These statutes impose certain restrictions on communications between a governmental entity and an offerer during the procurement process.
