This document shall serve to provide interested parties with specific information as to the Procedures for the Selection of a Materials Testing and Threshold Inspection firm where the method of compensation is a Negotiated Fee. Pursuant to Chapter 1013, Florida Statutes, the Florida Consultant's Competitive Negotiation Act, Section 287.055 Florida Statutes, and Rule 6A-2.0010, Florida Administrative Code, the School District of Osceola County, Florida will contract with one (1) firm to provide professional services as outlined in the Scope of Services. In determining whether a firm is qualified, the School District of Osceola County, Florida shall consider such factors as the ability and qualifications of professional personnel, experience and past performance, location of supporting office, project approach and references. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES To provide the School District of Osceola County with Materials Testing and Threshold Inspection Services for the New High School AAA New Construction Project. Anticipated services may include, but not be limited to the following: GENERAL 1. Review construction documents prepared by other Consultants to provide cost for the material testing and theshold inspections of the project. In the event there is a discrepancy between the RFQ scope of services and the construction documents, the testing requirements and frequencies of the construction documents shall take precedence over the scope of services listed in the RFQ. 2. Review, inspect, and report on specific areas of construction as required in the construction documents. 3. Consultant may be required to provide technical support by the use of other Consultants when specialized areas of expertise are needed.
