Renovation of a bridge / tunnel in Hidalgo, Texas. Working plans call for the renovation of a 475-square-foot, two-room bridge / tunnel.

The work consists of 475 square feet of interion renovations for two (2) staff restrooms in building C .at the McAllen Hidalgo International Bridge. Work will include demolishing existing walls, flooring, ceilings, and MEP fixtures in the existing restrooms and rebuilding the spaces to increase the number of plumbing fixtures. A Bidder's Bond from a reliable surety company licensed to operate in the State of Texas or certified Cashier's Check, (Bid Security) payable without recourse to the City of McAllen, for the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid shall be submitted via a sealed envelope as a guaranty that if awarded the contract, the bidder will enter into a contract with the City of McAllen. The Bidder's bid security shall be submitted before the above-mentioned electronic bid opening date and time. Failure to submit the bid security shall be grounds for disqualification.
