Livingston County ("County") is seeking proposals for engineering services to address streambank stabilization along North McMillan Creek in the Town of Conesus. The services to be provided shall include the following: (1) Review of the previously completed North McMillan Streambank Remediation Project completed in 2016 to identify proposed project parameters; (2) Site reconnaissance and evaluation of the current conditions in the stream reach; (3) Development and delivery of engineering construction drawings and technical specifications; and (4) Obtaining the necessary state and federal permits. The total funding available for stormwater engineering services is not to exceed $23,000.00.

Contract term: through 12/31/2024 (hard deadline due to grant funding) SCOPE OF SERVICES The services to be provided on North McMillan Creek in the Town of Conesus shall include: a) Review of the previously completed North McMillan Streambank Remediation Project completed in 2016 to identify proposed project parameters; b) Site reconnaissance and evaluation of current conditions in the stream reach; c) Development and delivery of engineering construction drawings and technical specifications for additional streambank remediation on this stream reach; d) Obtaining necessary state and federal permits; and e) Presenting final products to the Conesus Town Board. The awarded Consultant will work primarily with the Town of Conesus, the Livingston County Planning Department, and the Conesus Lake Watershed Manager and Watershed Inspector. Other departments, organizations, or individuals may be involved including the Livingston County Soil and Water Conservation District, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, the United States Army Corps of Engineers, the Conesus Lake Watershed Council Technical Committee, and individual landowners who have all, or a portion of, the affected reach on their property. The Watershed Manager, Watershed Inspector and Town Highway will accompany the engineer on all site visits. The Watershed Manager will contact landowners, as needed, to obtain permission to enter private lands. The Watershed Manager will be the primary contact person with landowners and all other agencies and individuals. The engineer will allow private landowners to accompany him or her on all site visits at the request of the landowner. Questions concerning this RFP must be made in writing with specific reference to the RFP section in question. Only written Requests for Information will be accepted. All Requests for Information shall be sent to Heather Ferrero at the Livingston County Planning Department via email hferrero@co.livingston.ny.us and must be received no later than 2 p.m. on Friday, March 29, 2024. The questions received and all answers will be posted on the NYS Contract Reporter no later than 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. If necessary, an addendum to the proposal documents will be issued and all addenda so issued shall become part of the RFP documents. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
