The structure is a 500,000 gallon toroellipse elevated water storage tank with a high-water level of 110 ft. located at 400 North Aurora Rd. in Aurora, Ohio. Work includes abrasive blast clean to a SSPC-SP10 near-white metal standard. Apply a three (3) coat zinc epoxy system. Apply a polyurethane caulk to the roof lap seams. The cathodic protection system shall be removed and reinstalled by the owner s vendor (or approved equal). Work also includes miscellaneous repairs. ESTIMATE: $195,000.00 Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier s check, an irrevocable letter of credit in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, or digital or paper bid bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount bid, signed by a Surety Company authorized to transact business in the State of Ohio. Such check or bid bond shall be made payable to the City of Aurora, Ohio and will be held as a guarantee that in the event the bid is accepted, and a contract awarded to the bidder, the Contract will be duly executed and its performance properly secured.
