As of August 19, 2025, this project is in the design phase. A timeline for construction has not yet been established. *Previous solicitation listed below for reference:* Reference Number 0000346702 The City of Thornton is requesting proposals for Design Services required for the construction plan package to install a continuous eastbound lane on 136th Avenue from Grant Street to the right turn lane located west of Washington Street. The Big Dry Creek Bridge will need to be modified and widened approximately 14-feet to accommodate this new lane. The monuments, barrier wall and metal railing will need to be removed and reinstalled.
