Site work and paving for a civil project in East Palatka, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The work shall consist of, but not be limited to, extension of a 12 watermain along East River Road and connecting to the water distribution system serving Palm Port, approximately 14,000 LF of watermain with associated fire hydrants, valves and other appurtenances. Installation will include two (2) horizontal directional drills within the right-of-way. The Bid Award in contingent upon acceptance and approval by the Putnam County Board of County Commissioners ofthe recommended Intent to Award. The recommendation ofthe Intent to Award is scheduled to be presented at the board meeting on May 14, 2024. The Base Bid portion of this project will consist of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and services and performing all work necessary to construct a water main extension within the right-of-way, which includes clearing and grubbing, constructing new water mains and avoiding conflicts with existing utilities by open cut and horizontal directional drill (HDD), constructing new water service assemblies by open cut and HDD, constructing new fire hydrant assemblies, constructing new valves, constructing a new meter and backflow preventer assembly at Palm Port Subdivision, pressure testing the new water mains, disinfecting the new water mains, restoring driveways and side streets with pavement at utility crossings, and grading and seeding/sodding that is incidental to the utility work. This bid requires a payment and performance bond by any Contractor awarded work.
