A timeline for rebid has not been established yet.* This project will grind existing asphalt and overlay new asphalt on Stadium Way on the Pullman Campus of Washington State University per the drawings and specifications. Sections of road starts at the north end of the Vogel Building and continues to the NE North Fairway Dr intersection, approximately 840 linear feet of roadway. Contract Time: Substantial completion shall be achieved by August 1, 2024. Work Shall not be allowed to begin until May 20, 2024 after spring classes have ended. Proposal must be based on this Contract Time. Bid Estimate: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 Owner Rights: Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received. Liquidity Damages: Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a Contract and furnish satisfactory bonds within 10 Days after its proposal has been accepted, the bid security shall be forfeited as liquidated damages.The bidder agrees that time is of the essence of the Contract and acknowledges that the amount of damages specified is a measure of the damages which the Owner will sustain should the Bidder fail to complete the Work within the Contract Time. Bond Notes: Bidder shall furnish a bid guarantee in the form of a cashier's check or bid bond made payable to the Board of Regents of Washington State University for an amount equal to at least 5% of the total Base Bid amount, as evidence of good faith and as a guarantee that, if awarded the Contract, the bidder will execute the Contract and provide payment and performance bonds as required. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
