Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Pullman, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This project consists of approximately 1,350 tons of hot mix asphalt pavement, 10,700 square yards of pavement grinding, 145 cubic yards of unsuitable foundation road excavation and haul, 420 tons of crushed surfacing, 355 square yards of sidewalk/curb ramp construction, crackfilling, and other miscellaneous related road work, including striping and utility cover adjustments. Minor spot repair of existing storm/sanitary sewer is also included along with construction of roughly 80 linear feet of new water main. A certified check - bid bond - or cashier's check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid must accompany the proposal. The local agency hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement - disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race - political affiliation - religion - gender - age - sexual orientation - disabilities - or any other protected status in consideration for an award. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids - to waive technicalities or irregularities - and after careful consideration of all bids and factors involved - make the award to best serve the interests of the City of Pullman.
