Renovation of a residential development in Seneca Falls, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The Finger Lakes DDSO is soliciting bids for an Exterior Repair & Paint at our Mynderse St IRA IRA located at 119 Mynderse St, Seneca Falls, NY 13148. Bids will not be accepted from vendors that do not attend this site visit. Vendors may also be disqualified from bidding if they arrive late to the site visit. This is a NYS public works project and prevailing wages must be paid. To request an invitation for bid, reference the location and project title on company letterhead, including a current email address and or fax number. Via fax 585-461-8811 Attention: Franchesca Sagen or email to Fl.Purchasing@opwdd.ny.gov. It is not required that we be notified ahead of time of your intent to attend the site visit. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Contract term: 30 days after completion of project Repair, replace and stain cedar siding . The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Stain/Paint will be a Sherwin Williams product and the colors will be the same as the existing. Repairs up to100 linear feet of siding/trim/soffit are included in this contract. Work is to be completed within 90 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid. Refer to attached specification for the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned and all materials secured at the end of each work day. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of (project item), before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with the point of contact. SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Remove and replace rotted cedar siding 2. Resecure siding that is loose / nails have pulled through 3. Resecure soffit unless rotted or broken , then replace 4. Pressure wash - prep for new stain 5. Caulk gaps and penetrations in the siding assembly with Formula 230 paintable caulking 6.
