Site work and paving for a road / highway in Columbia, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Boone County, hereafter referred to as "County," proposes to contract with an individual(s) or organization(s), hereinafter referred to as "Contractor" for the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, coordinating and scheduling, and related items required to provide materials for and perform single layer Preservation Chip Seal treatments on the Boone and Callaway Counties and Cities of Ashland, Fulton and Mexico roads listed herein using CHFRS-2P asphalt emulsion and Trap Rock. Questions Deadline: 4/10/2024 03:00 PM (CT) Bidders shall be required to furnish a Bid Bond. The awarded Contractor will also be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond. The bid response shall be accompanied by a proposal guaranteeing 5% of the total amount of the bid. The bond shall be executed by some surety company authorized to do business in the State of Missouri, as a guarantee on the part of the bidder that if his bid is accepted, he will within ten (10) days after receipt of notice of such acceptance, enter into a contract and furnish a Performance Bond/Labor and Material Payment Bond to do the work advertised; and, in case of default, forfeit such bid bond.
