Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Salem Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
he work includes but is not limited to all labor, materials, tools, oversight and permits required to complete mill and overlay on Eleventh Street, Central Ave., Tenth Street, Ninth Street, Eighth Street, Line Ave., Fifth and a Half Street. Improvements also include installation of concrete curb, concrete sidewalk, ADA Ramps, stormwater inlets, storm water conveyance, and storm water seepage tanks. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply. All Prime Contractor Bidders Must Be Penndot Prequalified as a Prime Contractor and for the Tasks They Complete, and All Subcontractors Must Be Penndot Prequalified as a Sub-contractor for the Tasks Assigned. The Township of Salem reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions or to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of sixty days.
