Slocum Township Memorial Park Phase II repair / upgrade project improvements. Work includes repairs to existing bituminous walkways and ADA improvements. Since Slocum Township Supervisors do not have normal office hours, bidders are encouraged to mail their bids to allow sufficient time to arrive by the deadline. A dropoff box is available at the aforementioned address as well for delivery. All times will be strictly enforced. Bid security, in an amount equal to ten (10%) of the total bid, shall be submitted with each Bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond. Slocum Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof, and to waive any informality in the bidding. The selection of the successful bidder shall be made in the best interest of Slocum Township, as they solely determine, and bidders acknowledge this by submitting a bid. Bids may be held by Slocum Township for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids, before awarding the Contract. In this period of time no Bidder may withdraw their bid.
