Renovation of a water / sewer project in Tunica, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The work shall consist essentially of the following type items: 1. Clean existing wetwells, removing grit and solids; 2. Remove and replace discharge piping, guide rails, wall supports, and base elbows; 3. Remove and replace submersible pumps; 4. Remove and replace check valves and gate valves; 5. Remove and replace electrical control panels; and install SCADA equipment, and 6. Provide by-pass pumping, as needed, to maintain continuity of wastewater collection services. Special Damages - In addition to the amounts provided for liquidated damages, Contractor, in the event of such default, shall pay to the Owner the actual costs reasonably incurred by Owner for engineering and inspection forces employed on the work after the time stipulated for completion of the work. Bidder must be qualified under Mississippi Law and show current Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors establishing his classification as the value and type of construction on which he is authorized to bid. The Tunica County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
