Timeline for award is not yet determined. ** The Project includes the following Work: o Reconstruction and widening improvements of an asphalt parking lot with associated underground utilities. o Work items to support the parking lot reconstruction include: o Removals: Excavation common, electrical, landscaping, asphalt parking lot, sidewalk, curb, sanitary lateral, water service, existing storm, signs, and tree removal. o Erosion Control: Inlet protection and sediment logs o Site Improvements: Concrete sidewalk improvements, asphalt parking lot paving and expansion, curb & gutter, pavement markings, signage, and landscaping beds. o Electrical: Electrical service, site lighting, and underground conduit. o Utilities: Sanitary sewer, water utilities, and storm utilities o Site and Turf Restoration: Site and turf restoration. General site clean-up and amenities installed. The anticipated substantial completion date is June 21, 2024 and final completion date is August 2, 2024. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by ORFDO wage rates.
