Gravel Bids Wanted The Town of Greenwood, Taylor County is seeking bids on the following item for the construction year of 2024 for the Town of Greenwood and for town residents. 6,000 yds., more or less, of 3/4 in. minus gravel with fines DOT Grade 3 road base delivered by Aug. 15, 2024. Bidder will furnish the gravel with estimated delivery dates. A minimum of seven trucks hauling gravel. Gravel will be tested. Please list each of these items in a separate sealed envelope along with current Certificate of Insurance and bid price for town residents (to include a set time frame for when deliveries will be made) with tax included. The Board asks that at least 1/2 of the total yards be stockpiled so that representative samples may be taken and analyzed and a decision made whether to accept the finished product. The Town reserves the right to accept and/or refuse any and all bids. The Town Board reserves the right to inspect the products before purchase.
