Renovation of a residential development in Marksville, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Bidders attention is particularly called to the fact that this project is funded by the U.S. Department ofHousing and Urban Development and certain requirements as to conditions of employment, minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 as amended, Section 109 ofthe Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, certification of Non-Segregated Facilities, and Executive Order 11246, as amended, will be requirements ofthis contract. Each Bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount of 5% ofhis total bid, in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Bids shall be accepted from Contractors who are licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2163 for the classification of Building Construction. Bidder is required to comply with provisions and requirements ofLA R.S.38:2212 (A)(1)(c). No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after receipt of bids, except under the provisions of LA. R.S. 38:2214-38:2215. Separate sealed bids for the UNIT MODERNIZATIONS for the June, 2023 Deficiency Report Project, will be received by the Marksville Housing Authority at the Housing Authority Office, 100 North Hillside Drive, Marksville, Louisiana 71351, until 11:00 A.M.. Monda April 22 2024 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. The Instructions to Bidders, Bid Form, Agreement Between Owner and Contractor, Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bonds, Drawings and Specifications, and other contract documents may be examined at the following location
