Site work and paving for a road / highway in Prescott, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
**As of May 6, 2024, the project was awarded to Monarch Paving Company in the Amount of $235,627.40.** The work consists of approximately 11,303 Square Yards of Asphaltic Pavement Milling, 11,303 Square Yards of Tack Coat, 11,303 Square Yards of HMA Pavement, Binder 1.5", 11,303 Square Yards of HMA Pavement, Surface 1.5" and 418 Linear Feet of Saw Cutting. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check or bank cashier's check as bid security, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the bid, payable to the City of Prescott as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a Contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured within ten (10) days of the award of Contract. In case the successful bidder shall fail to execute the Contract, the amount of the bid security shall be forfeited to the City of Prescott as liquidated damages. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. The City of Prescott reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid considered most advantageous to the City of Prescott.
