This project consists of placement of new Hot-Mix Asphalt wearing course (overlayment) on Redds Mill Road in Fallowfield Township. Questions Due Date Online Portal Deadline to submit Questions Mar 19th 2024, 4:00 PM EDT N/A A certified check payable to Fallowfield Township or a bid bond on the bid form executed by the Bidder and a surety company approved by the Owner, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid, to guarantee the Bidder's entrance into a contract if given the award. No bid bond shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans, specifications, or any applicable statutes of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or any applicable municipal ordinances. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. If the Bidder is awarded a Contract, he shall commence work on a date to be specified in a written Notice to Proceed and shall fully complete same within 60 calendar days which is the time of completion. He shall also pay the Owner as liquidated damages, the sum of $500 for each consecutive calendar day thereafter during which all Contract work is not completed, as hereinafter provided in the General Conditions. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding.
