The project is located in Montgomery County, Upper Hanover Township, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The bridge to be rehabilitated spans the Macoby Creek carrying St Pauls Road (T-310). Work includes tree removal, sign resetting, asphalt settlement repair, crack sealing, wingwall stabilization, and concrete repairs to the bridge parapets, deck underside, and T-beams. The successful bidder will be required to pay the electronically a fee of 1/3% of the contract value award. There is a minimum award fee of $100.00 and a maximum of $5,000.00. Project is to be substantially completed by Friday, June 7, 2024. Liquidated damages apply at a rate of $400.00 per calendar day. Proposals shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the proposal. Proposals shall be effective for 90 days from the date of opening. The successful low bidder will be required to provide a 100% performance bond or certified check, a 100% payment bond or certified check, a workma's compensation affidavit, and a certificate of insurance naming Upper Hanover Township and LTL Consultants as additional insureds, all within 20 days after the contract is awarded. A 15% maintenance bond extending for a period of 18 months after substantial completion is also required. Bidder must be PennDOT prequalified The Owner reserves the right to waive any non-material defects or irregularities in each bid, and to reject any or all bids, or portions thereof, or to award the Project in the best interests of the Owner.
