Culvert and Streambank Project Elm Street South of 60th Street 2024 Work description: The project consists of removal and replacement of the existing 6'11" x 4'5" elliptical corrugated metal pipe (CMP) culvert carrying the 63rd Street Ditch under Elm Street. The replacement culvert will be a cast-in-place double barrel 13' x5' reinforced concrete box culvert (RCBC). The project also includes about 450 linear feet of vegetative and structural streambank stabilization upstream and downstream of the culvert. The project includes all ancillary roadway and parkway construction necessary for the removal and replacement of the new waterway crossing Bidders will be required to provide Bid security equal to five (5) percent of the Bid in the form of a Bid Bond written by a company properly licensed in Illinois, a certified check or a cashier's check.
