Site work for a civil project in Burr Ridge, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.

As of April 25, 2024, project was awarded to ABBEY PAVING, awarded amount is $939,889.25. Culvert and Streambank Project Elm Street South of 60th Street 2024 Work description: The project consists of removal and replacement of the existing 6'11" x 4'5" elliptical corrugated metal pipe (CMP) culvert carrying the 63rd Street Ditch under Elm Street. The replacement culvert will be a cast-in-place double barrel 13' x5' reinforced concrete box culvert (RCBC). The project also includes about 450 linear feet of vegetative and structural streambank stabilization upstream and downstream of the culvert. The project includes all ancillary roadway and parkway construction necessary for the removal and replacement of the new waterway crossing Bidders will be required to provide Bid security equal to five (5) percent of the Bid in the form of a Bid Bond written by a company properly licensed in Illinois, a certified check or a cashier's check. The successful Bidder also must comply with the Illinois Department of Labor Prevailing Wages for DuPage County. All questions should be addressed to Amy McKenna at amckenna@hlreng.com. Addenda will be issued only to plan holders that request the information electronically. The Village of Burr Ridge, in accordance with the Laws of the State of Illinois, hereby notifies all Bidders that the Village reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive minor informalities or technicalities, to advertise for new bids, or to request confirmation or clarification from any bidder regarding information contained in a bid. The Village will affirmatively ensure that the contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement will be awarded to a responsible and responsive Bidder without discrimination on the grounds of race, color or national origin, but the Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids received and to waive formalities. Your Bid will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of ninety (90) days after submission. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.The cost range for this project is $900,000-$950,000
