Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following 1. Tennis court reconstruction and conversion to pickleball courts. Scope of work to include but not limited to, existing fencing and court surface removal, drainage installation, new paving and color coating, new fencing, new electrical service to existing light poles, new lighting system and the addition of minor site lighting improvements. B. Type of Contract 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. Harrisburg Area Community College is seeking bids from qualified contractors to renovate/convert the existing tennis courts and complete the entire project as defined in the Project Manual. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 10 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after opening of bids. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. The work is subject to liquidated damages. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities Project cost range is anticipated to be under $ 975,000. Bidder Questions: Submit written questions to be addressed at Prebid meeting minimum of two (2) business days prior to meeting.
