OWNER have decided to extend the submittal date for the Cold Storage Building SOQ to April 18, 2024. We will issue an updated RFQ with revised schedule by end of day Tuesday, April 9. The Council for the City of Findlay, Ohio is requesting statements of qualifications pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 153.65, et seq., from firms to provide design-build services for its Cold Storage Building Project. Direct all questions in writing, by email, to Lee P. Rausch, PE, Assistant City Engineer at
lrausch@findlayohio.gov. Verbal responses to questions, at any time, are not official and cannot
be relied upon. Respondents should not seek to discuss any information directly relating to this
procurement with any of the Owner's personnel or anyone affiliated with the Project, except during
scheduled site visits, or as otherwise provided for in the RFQ The Project is anticipated to consist of the design and construction of a new Cold Storage
Building. The scope of the Project is anticipated to include, but is not limited to, the
construction a 50' x 150' pre-engineered metal building and all associated infrastructure and
site work. The building will include drive through bay(s) with overhead door(s).
B. The building constructed as part of the Project is anticipated to be used to house snow
removal equipment at the City's Airport.
C. The drive through bay(s) of the building constructed as part of the Project will be required to
accommodate frequent use by the City Airport's snow removal trucks.
D. At the Request for Proposals Phase, the short-listed firms will be provided with the DesignCriteria for the Project
