Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Barnesville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.

Work consists of repaving specific sections of the campground Locust Lake Road and associated loops to access campsites 89 - 213. Work includes, but is not limited to, reclamation full depth repair and repaving of the sections of the existing paved roadway, pedestrian walking surfaces, campsite pads, and improving existing drainage conditions but adding inlets and pipes. DGS Small Business Certification Required Engineer's Estimate: $400,000-600,000 Contractor is to begin work within ten (10) days after receipt of Notice to Proceed, and to complete work within One Hundred Twenty days (120) calendar days. The tenth (10th) day after receipt of Notice to Proceed shall be the official starting date unless the ten (10) day period is extended in writing by the Secretary. It is understood that if the work is not completed within the time above specified or such extension thereof, as shall be granted in accordance with the General Conditions, the Contractor shall pay the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as liquidated damages and not as a penalty for non-completion of work, the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500) per day for each and every calendar day thereafter until the work shall be completed and accepted. The right is reserved, as the interests of the Commonwealth may require, to revise or amend the Bid Documents prior to the dates set for opening of bids. Such revisions will be announced by Addenda to the Bid Documents. Copies of all such Addenda issued will be sent to all parties receiving copies of the Bid Documents and must be acknowledged with the bid As a contractor/subcontractor for the above referenced public works contract, I hereby affirm that as of the above date, our company is in compliance with the Public Works Employment Verification Act ('the Act') through utilization of the federal E-Verify Program (EVP) operated by the United States Department of Homeland Security. To the best of my/our knowledge, all employees hired post January 1, 2013 are authorized to work in the United States. It is also agreed to that all public works contractors/subcontractors will utilize the federal EVP to verify the employment eligibility of each new hire within five (5) business days of the employee start date throughout the duration of the public works contract. Documentation confirming the use of the federal EVP upon each new hire shall be maintained in the event of an investigation or audit.
