Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Cincinnati, Ohio. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.
This project includes the replacement of existing legacy CTCS interconnect system with a fiber optic network using proposed and existing duct banks, conduits and aerial utility poles. Signal controllers, network and traffic flow monitoring equipment will be upgraded. Additional work includes the replacement of traffic signal infrastructure five intersections and a number of school flashers, as well as street pavement rehabilitation along the path of the proposed duct bank. The project's work includes the installation of underground conduit duct banks and fiber optic cable trunk lines and drop cables; pavement work; concrete flatwork such as curbs, sidewalks, and drives; a minor curb wall; minor storm water improvements such as manholes, inlets, and pipes; curb ramps; curb extensions; flexible delineators; school zone flashers; and other associated roadway and traffic signal construction items Bids must be accompanied by a bid surety of not less than 10% of the bid amount and the successful bidder will be required to provide a performance surety of not less than 100% of the contract value.
