THIS WORK SHALL CONSIST OF FURNISHING ALL LABOR, MATERIAL, AND EQUIPMENT NECESSARY TO PERFORM ALL OPERATIONS FOR THE APPLICATION OF AN ASPHALT REJUVENATING AGENT TO ASPHALTIC CONCRETE SURFACE COURSES. THE REJUVENATION OF SURFACE COURSES SHALL BE BY SPRAY APPLICATION OF A MALTENE BASED CATIONIC REJUVENATING AGENT COMPOSED OF PETROLEUM OILS AND RESINS EMULSIFIED WITH WA TER. Engineers Estimate $1,364,000.00 Each proposal must be accompanied by a one hundred percent (100%) bid guaranty bond or a certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit on a solvent bank in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid. Bidders must use the printed forms provided herein. The bidder to whom the Contract is awarded will be required to furnish a Corporate Surety Company Bond in a sum equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price, conditioned according to law. The County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids or accept or reject any part thereof. If the Bidder does not understand any aspect of the Plans, Specifications, Bid Tabulations, or Site Conditions of the project, the Bidder shall immediately contact the Engineer for clarification. If the Engineer determines that the question(s) is/are not substantive, no further action on the Engineers part will be taken.
