The funding for the Natchez City Auditorium Phase II Renovation is a 2022 Convention Center Complex General Obligation Bond Issue. No state and/or federal funds will be used for this renovation project. Work at the building will consist of but not be limited to general renovations including installation of new toilets (M&F), new seating, ceiling, sound panels and finishes in the Main House, repairing covered drop-off and clean exterior pre-cast stone, etc. Location- Natchez City Auditorium - 207 Jefferson St. Natchez, MS 39120 Bid Bond Security/Guarantee in the amount of 5% of total bid will be required in Contracts exceeding $25,000. 100% Performance and Payment Bond will be required. Licensing and other certification of qualifications will be required as specified in the contract documents. Where applicable, the foregoing certificate number must be indicated on the exterior of the sealed bid envelope before it will be opened. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities, to negotiate with the lowest and best bidder to reduce the bid price to come within the funds allocated for the work, to reduce the job in order to stay within available funding or as desirable in the discretion of the Natchez Mayor and Board of Alderman, and to accept bids by classes and/or groups, if applicable, all as set forth and in accordance with applicable Question Deadline 04/19/2024 ALT. No. 1 - DED.: Thoroughly clean all exterior cast stone and concrete surfaces, to include columns at front porch, door pediments and surrounds, window sills, and front porch floor and steps. Typical at all exterior building surfaces. Verify extent of cleaning on site with Architect. ALT. No. 2 - DED.: Reroof and repair existing canopy at drive-through drop-off. Verify extent of repair on site with Architect. Refer to Sheet A5.3. ALT. No. 3 - DED.: Sand, clean, and repaint all existing painted surfaces in Auditorium space. Allow +-6,045 s.f. Refer to Sheets A0.2 and A1.2. ALT. No. 4 - DED.: Omit commercial ice maker. Refer to Sheets A1.1 and A11.1
