As part of the Public Works Sidewalk Concrete Replacement Project the Town is seeking to retain the services of a firm or contractor to provide: A. Excavation, removal, and haul off existing concrete. B. Form and pour new sidewalk using a class D CDOT specification mix with fiber mesh added. C. Provide signage, detours, and traffic control during the project to meet all Town of Basalt Specifications. One section of sidewalk on Willits Lane does not have a sidewalk on the other side of the roadway so a specific plan on how to get those pedestrians safely around the project will need to be shown and drawn out in the traffic control plan. The areas to be addressed are pictured in the attached Exhibit A. A schedule for design will be discussed and negotiated with the firm selected for the project.
