Site work for a water / sewer project in Aurora, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Location: Marion Ave near S Lincoln Ave, Lafayette St between Marion Ave and Evans Ave, and Seminary Ave near S 4th St Proposed Improvement: Installation of 65 LF of 10" PVC, 357 LF of 12" DIP, 522 LF of 12" RCP, 709 LF of 15" RCP, 2,900 LF of 1" directionally drilled copper water services, and other miscellaneous appurtenances all in accordance with the plans and specifications. The City encourages minority business firms to submit proposals and encourages the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as subcontractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction. The City of Aurora has a local preference ordinance that would apply to this contract. Prequalification of Bidders as contained in Check Sheet LRS6 in the "Supplemental Specifications and Recurring Special Provisions" is required on this project. All proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty as outlined in the Proposal form. All questions should be received by the Purchasing Division, in writing at PurchasingDL@aurora.il.us , by 4 pm Friday, April 5, 2024.
