Site work for a municipal facility in Weathersfield, Vermont. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
SCOPE OF WORK Replace the hydrant with a new Kennedy K-81A hydrant and replace the PVC vent line as necessary. Replace the wooden electrical backboard with a new pressure treated wooden structure and reinstall the existing electrical controls box cover which was undamaged. Reuse the undamaged electrical service disconnect and furnish and install a new motor starter and heater in a new cabinet waterproof cabinet. Inspect, repair, and replace the PVC conduits and hydrant plumbing as needed It is the goal of this project to replace the electric fire hydrant at the intersection of the Black River and Route 106 in Perkinsville, Vermont. The Question Period ends on March 29, 2024 Any important notes and/or changes resulting from the questions asked and answered, will be sent to all interested contractors no later than April 1, 2024. Bids will be analyzed, and a recommendation will be made by the Town Manager & Fire Department to the Select board on Monday, April 8, 2024, at approximately 6:45pm. The awarded & rejected contractors will be notified on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. To accept or reject any or all bids and to accept other than the lowest price proposal.
