Scope of Work: Complete wall and ceiling paint covering needed. Complete ceiling and roof structure blown down and scraped to remove loose paint and debris. Ceiling shall be coated with dry fall, white in color. All walls to be cleaned and prepped using low pressure wash to achieve best finish and adhesion. Walls shall receive 2 coats of pre-catalyzed epoxy, white in color. All doors and frames shall be prepped and finished with 2 coats of waterborne enamel to match existing color. Quotes shall include all labor, materials, and clean up of completed project. All work shall be performed in a neat and professional manner for a school setting. All items shall be fully guaranteed free of all physical and material flaws and free of any engineering and/or construction defects for a minimum of one year from the date of acceptance by the Tuscola Intermediate School District. Any repairs, replacement or adjustment expense involved under this guarantee is assumed by the vendor. Each bidder responding to a request for proposal must certify that it is not an Iran-linked business and disclose any Familiar Relationship to the District as defined by MCL 129.312 and MCL 380.1267. Affidavit attached on page 5. Affidavit is required to be accompanied with all bids to be considered. Please use the attached Affidavit on page 5. A Bid Bond is required for bids over $29,572. Bid Bond must be 5% of bid amount and included with bid submitta Performance and Payment Bonds are required for procurements in excess of $50,000. Performance and Payment Bonds must be at least 25% of contract amount. Winning bidder shall submit bond papers prior to work commencing. All construction contracts in excess of $2,000 require federal prevailing wages to be paid and documentation of compliance.
