As of May 1,2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The Purpose and Intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to establish a firm fixed price contract for a Land Based Kayak Launch in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions stated herein. It is the intent of Northumberland County to make an award no later than April 30, 2024. Actual on-site work is to be scheduled and coordinated with the Project Manager. The site will be available for work completion Monday through Friday. This project must be completed by May 31, 2024. The time of completion will be a factor in making an award. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within sixty (60) calendar days after the actual date of the bid opening. Northumberland County reserves the right to accept or reject, in whole or part, any and all Bids and to waive informalities. Note: this contract is subject to VMRC approval of the Joint Permit Application contained in Appendix A.
