Proposals will only be accepted from qualified contractors who have previously demonstrated their ability to comply with the technical specifications through prior work. Qualified contractors are those who have the financial resources necessary to complete the Work and whose proposals are fully responsive to the Invitation to Proposals. Annual Supply of HYDROFLUOSILICIC ACID 23-25% solution for Kansas City Board of Public Utilities (BPU) Nearman Water Treatment Plant. HYDROFLUOSILICIC ACID 23-25% solution for use with potable water per AWWA specifications. Estimated annual quantity is 175,000 lbs. The following are minimum requirements for responsive proposals: Must meet AWWA Standards; It is ANSI/NSF Standard 60 certified for use in potable water treatment. Each delivery shall consist of one truckload (approximately 40,000lbs) A certificate of analysis must be accompanied with each delivery. Questions Due Date: 4/10/2024 Answers Due Date: 4/12/2024 Proposers may request additional information by submitting their questions via email to: Jacquelyn Bagby, jbagby@bpu.com and purchasing@bpu.com by the date specified in SC.2. All questions must be directed to the Department of Purchasing and Supply. Answers to all questions will be compiled and distributed through online as an addendum. No Proposer shall discuss details of this Request for Proposals with BPU personnel outside of the Purchasing Department. The BPU reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and waive irregularities therein, and all Proposers agree that such rejection shall be without liability on the part of the BPU for any penalty of any kind brought against the BPU because of such rejections. By filing any proposal in response to this invitation, proposer agrees to these conditions. The BPU is not obligated to request clarifications or additional information but may do so at its discretion. The BPU reserves the right to extend the deadline for submittals for all proposers.
